Swedish standard: kitchen interior living room in white color
Can a small apartment be cozy, comfortable and beautiful ?! If you have any doubts on this, look at the stunning interior of the apartment, designed by a designer from the Swedish company Stadshem. Modest 65 square meters. meter they managed to turn into a luxurious place to stay. A successful layout, functional arrangement and white perfection of the Scandinavian style promise the hosts a lot of pleasant minutes in their native walls.
White interior with delicate mauve and mauve nuances
The main role in the interior is assigned to the color scheme. The mood, like the Scandinavian style, creates a white color. For this project, a special shade of white with delicate mauve-purple nuances is chosen. All elements of the environment are naturally and organically combined with each other, maintaining a common unity of style. The blue-wood paneling of the dark wood gives a harmonious blend of mauve and pink in the furnishings and furnishings.
A successful zoning space
Ceiling false box of gypsum cardboard, installed on the border of the kitchen-dining room and living room, visually designate different functional areas. A similar function is performed by the backlight, which effectively allocates and isolates individual zones, and at the same time combines the entire space.
In the living room, we see a simple ball-shaped chandelier, and in the kitchen – a pendant lamp in an industrial style, as well as a warm illumination of the work surface and a hinged cupboard with glass facades. It’s amazing how such a seemingly insignificant detail, like the lighting of a locker, can affect the atmosphere in the room, giving it a very special home charm.
Comfortable vintage with Nordic style
His contribution to the creation of a cozy home environment makes deliberately simple furniture in a rustic style. A black glossy refrigerator with streamlined retro forms and vintage handles, and domestic appliances, devoid of modern glamor shine, are echoed with a black table top, black hood and a dark wooden floor, wholly supporting the laconic Nordic character and the vintage spirit of the interior.
The kitchen unit is completed with a compartment with shelves for convenient storage of wine bottles. The working wall in the kitchen is covered with pastel pinkish mauve wallpaper with a delicate floral ornament. In the kitchen you can get in two ways: either through the living room, or directly from the hallway.
Round table
The dining room is represented by a round dining table, wooden chairs and a buffet in the same crosses as the backs of the chairs. The buffet serves as a link between the living room and the dining room. It seems that all this has migrated to a city apartment directly from the grandmother’s house in the village, along with a round textured rug, wicker baskets and wicker tableware.
Urban and cosmopolitan motives
However, they did not become stuck in the outback. Deciding to pay tribute to the owners’ love for travel, they very effectively and delicately diluted the Scandinavian rustic with urban and cosmopolitan motives: pillows with an American flag, a panorama of the night city.
Striped textures
The interior of the apartment is designed in the same style. Paintings in black frames on the walls, original pots, bedside tables, bookshelves, lamps – everything is complementary and interconnected, everything smoothly flows from one to another, and even trifles are not accidental. Another common element is striped textures: upholstery of chairs in black and white stripes, striped pillows, vertical stripes in the bedroom.
Green inclusions
A discreet, laconic atmosphere is eagerly enlivened by the green incrustations found everywhere in the form of houseplants and ornamental bouquets in vases. By itself, white color, as is known, does not heat, but in this case it has a warm overtones, and besides it very advantageously emphasizes the purity and order prevailing in the house.
